 In 2004, owls nested northeast of the mansion. The day before the first concert, the baby owls came out of the nest, still unable to fly. They were a danger to themselves and others inside the concert venue, and were captured and taken to a rehabilitator. Here, on 2004-08-06, one of the owls was returned to Marymoor and released by the East Footbridge. The other was released in another King County park. |
