Norah Gaynor (King County Parks), Herb Bone (MAR/C, FOMP
Board), Jack MacKinnon (Marymoor Community Gardener's Association),
Allison Brucker (Marymoor Community Gardener's Association), Michael Hobbs
(Eastside Audubon, FOMP Secretary), Greg Helland (SODA, FOMP President)
Park Tree Inventory and Plan - Greg received a contract from
DNR, and modified it to remove some insurance clauses that were
incorrect (since FOMP is not a government agency).
After noting these changes, Greg moved to have the FOMP Board approve
the contract. Herb seconded, and the motion passed unanimously.
Greg will sign the contract and send it to the state. Once FOMP
receives the completed contract from DNR, FOMP can direct EarthCorps to
begin the project.
Greg also received a Service Agreement from EarthCorps. He has
proposed some modest changes to it, but has not yet gotten those
comments to EarthCorps for review. Approval of that Agreement will
be handled by the FOMP Board via email later this week.
Greg has requested that Ella come to the August FOMP meeting to provide
status. Hopefully, the project will have started by then.
